naya_the_va This podcast is like slowly listening to a complex emotional experience unfold, a dedication to memory, the passage of time, and nostalgia. A beautiful show and a beautiful, emotional album. I love it, simple as that, worth every penny of course. Much appreciation and love to everyone involved in the making of the show and the album! 💜

Kathryn Soderholm This soundtrack is exactly what the show promises. The songs are a bit goofy, yet clever and memorable -- exactly what a talented teenager would have written in the '90s. The arrangements and performances are also in character, and each character has a featured song. My favorite is Cul-de-sac, which is not only a round, but also brings back the theme from the first track on the album, the arrangement beautifully highlighting the lyrics and theme.

Track Name: Youth Grows Old
You you you you you you youth grows old in Rosemary Hills…

You you you you you you youth grows old in Rosemary Hills…

I’m so alone, so alone, alone in Rosemary Hills….

Green grass will grow and grow and grow and grow….

You you you you you you you youth grows old in Rosemary Hills…

I’m so alone, so alone in Rosemary Hills…

You you you you you you you youth grows old in Rosemary Hills…
You you you you you you you youth grows old in Rosemary Hills…

I’m so alone, so alone, alone in Rosemary Hills...
Track Name: The Weaving Song
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na….

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na….

Weaves the weaver, the imperfect, weaving something / Tying knots to

hide the frays / See those holes and gaps mid-sentence, I speak gaps and holes.

Weaving weaver chose her colors, maybe turquoise, maybe blue

(That’s what won me an award) All we see is black and white now

That loose knot’s my flattened chord

Na na na na na na na na na ….

Little weaver wove in something
That won her an award
Hands know things before the rest does
What’s the weight upon the yarn?

Weaving hater, weaving maker
You’re a hating weaving winner maker
You have things to say, but you’ve said things already
You’ll see it someday maybe baby you’ll see
(repeat)
Track Name: I Am A Moment
Point an arrow at my chest, Hold it taut look in my eyes, Forget the rest all you despise

I’m high as you are free, The delicacy of this beauty

My eyes dilate to your enchantment, see the origins of your soul / Oneness is the goal /
And though you could be killing me, you are not /Roll the dice I’m a moment

It was you and me, see, time’s abiding to our hearts.

Chorus:

To have had a moment, because I am a moment, now I am a moment

And I was a moment with you…

But in my rush of ecstasy, I feel doubt tug you away from me

Your fingers slack on the bow and with my last breath I know/

It was all too much for you/To see infinite as true/Well you missed your moment

It was you and me, see, time’s abiding to our hearts.

The steel pierces through my veins, the light fantastic’s now my prize
It was a thrilling exercise, though I’m the one that dies
The game was worth the loss
Hands melted off the clock burned by the flame of souls colliding
It was you and me, see, time’s abiding to our hearts

To have had a moment, because I am a moment, now I’m but a moment
But I was a moment with you
Track Name: Ghost Deer
Hey deer, why you walking around here?
Don’t you know there ain’t no more trees where the greens be,
Maybe you’re not my deer--maybe you’re a ghost deer?

Oh deer, saw you sniffing around here
I once had a flower that you ate from my hand there
But I can’t feed a ghost deer; the wild flowers disappeared

Weird deer, how you suddenly appear
And lead me round the grounds, but there’s no one around here
No one else like me, deer...maybe I’m the ghost deer?

Oh dear, why’m I walking around here?
I know that there ain’t no more trees where the greens be
I think I’m a ghost, dear
I must be the ghost here…….
Track Name: Magic Eye
They say look beyond the picture
They say let your vision blur
Something’s gonna pop out
The image will appear.

But everything is magic
You say that’s romantic

But you don’t need a magic eye
If you can get the focus right.
You laugh at the dolphins dancing
And other things you just don’t see.
And I just want world peace.
I’ll just cut the cheese.
So please excuse me please.

They say you can’t let your eyes move
They say try hard not to blink
And this is what you must see
Here is how to think

But everything is magic
You say that’s romantic

But you don’t need at magic eye
If you can get the focus right
You laugh at eagles landing
And other things you just don’t see
But I say cut the cheese—
Cuz I just want world peace.

So many types of cheeses!

Everything is magic—
You say that’s romantic

And you don’t need a magic eye
If you can get the focus right
You laugh at dolphins dancing
And other things you just don’t see-
But I say, cut the cheese
Cuz I just want world peace.
Yeah, I just want world peace.
I just want world peace.
Track Name: The Clapper
Help, I can’t get up, I’ve fallen
Help, I can’t get up, I’ve fallen
Help, I can’t get up, I’ve fallen
Help, I can’t get up

Help

I can’t get up.

I’ve fallen.

I’ve fallen.

Clap on/Clap off…

Frozen dinners
(chicken pot pie)
Grim Reaper
Beepers
Beepers.
Beepers.

Beep beep beep….
Clap on/Clap off
Capitalism.
Help help help….
Clap on
